Achieve a lush, vibrant lawn with our expert 7-step lawn care program.
Each step is strategically designed to nourish your grass, prevent weeds, and protect against pests, ensuring a beautiful lawn in every season.
Step 1: Early Spring (Pre-Emergent & Fertilization)
Apply pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass and other weeds. Use a slow-release fertilizer to help the grass green up after winter dormancy. Provides vital nutrients for vibrant spring color while also forming a protective barrier against grassy weeds like crabgrass, foxtail, and goosegrass.

Step 2: Late Spring (Weed Control)
Treat for broadleaf weeds like dandelions, henbit, clover and other common invasive weeds using a selective herbicide. Left uncontrolled, they can quickly overtake lawns.

Step 3: Summer Fertilization
Apply a summer fertilization to feed your yard all summer long. Help withstand heat and drought conditions. This will include spot weed treatment. See NOTE below.

Step 4: Summer Grub Control
Grubs can be one of the most destructive pests in your lawn, causing extensive damage that leads to brown patches and weak grass. If left untreated, these larvae of beetles can quickly destroy your yard by feeding on grassroots. That’s why grub control treatment is essential for maintaining a lush, green lawn.
See NOTE below

Step 5: Summer Weed Control
Summer is the peak growing season for many invasive weeds. If left unchecked, weeds can quickly spread and choke out your grass. Some weeds such as crabgrass, dandelions nutsedge and clover, thrive in summer’s heat. A specialized weed control treatment during summer is formulated to target these stubborn weeds.

Step 6: Fall Fertilizer
Apply fertilizer to help your lawn recover from summer stress. Helps develop deep strong roots before winter. This will also include spot weed treatment.
This is an ideal time to add aeration and seeding services.

Step 7: Winterization Fertilizer
Prepare your lawn for the colder months with a winterizing fertilization treatment! This essential step strengthens root growth, minimizes winter damage, and promotes an earlier, healthier green-up in the spring. Give your grass the nutrients it needs to thrive through winter and emerge lush and vibrant when the warmer weather returns.

Optional Additional Applications:
Insect Control & Landscape protection – Safeguard your landscape and trees from harmful insects such as bagworms, emerald ash borer, aphids, beetles, ticks and more.
Fungicides – Treatment is used to address diseases that can weaken grass, leading to thinning, yellowing, and even dead patches.
Note: Steps 3 & 4 are usually a combined application for better results.
